We tried to pass a bigger infrastructure bill, but some obstructionist conservatives who shall remain nameless blocked it, so we have to make due with the lesser option.
But onto more meaningful things like how Loony Lisa thinks inflation is only an American thing. This is happening all over the world as people who got vaccinated and have started returning to normal have overwhelmed the supply chain that had been mainly shut down due to Corona. But the RW uses it to attack Biden because it’s low-hanging fruit.
The simplest, most effective anti-inflation measure would be reducing the deficit by repealing the higher-income Trump tax cuts. I’m sure Ms Benson is ready to jump on board and support that.
Only 37.8% of those surveyed approved of Biden’s job performance while 59% disapproved. He is more than 21 points underwater.
Harris received a 27.8% approval rating with 51.2% disapproving of her performance in office, according to USA Today/Suffolk University. This is more than 23 percentage points underwater, the report adds.
tax the rich, so government interest costs are less. rescind the Bush/Trump tax cuts (all except for the SALT cap . . .that made some sense from a fairness point of view)
If you cannot laugh at yourself, and more importantly laugh at your political party, it becomes an indicator that you are not fully comfortable with either.
Republicans are ever so quick to make hay from whatever might gain them support. Mandatory vaccinations is losing steam so let’s go with inflation for a while.. to heck with what good for the country.
Gee I wonder who blocked the better bill? Gee I wonder. BTW, inflation is a problem around the world, not something caused by President Biden. Actually, the poor response to Covid has more to do with inflation and supply chain issues than anything else. That and the companies that are enjoying price gouging their customers, in the name of supply and demand.
Best thing to do, unless you really need something, don’t buy it until the price drops back to a reasonable price.
Lisa, did you ever notice that your little coterie of " liberal " critics seem to be partial to posting long, meandering and generally incoherent screeds with the ever-present, " But . .but . . Trump . . . . ! " as their only response to your cartoons critical of the present " administration " ?
And the lengths to which they’ll go in grasping at straws to defend the indefensible Biden & Co. in the face of the current economic, immigration, inflation, national security, public media overreach, the censorship and restrictions placed on social media, etc. is truly amazing . . .
Anyway . . . keep up the great work Lisa. At least your critics must be getting paid by the word ! :-)
Great lie. Not. The spending bill, which has not even gone into effect, has nothing to do with inflation. Inflation is being cause by systemic problems with supply and demand, both of which are dramatically affected by Covid.
On the supply side, it’s hard for manufacturers to get goods to market because of a lack of workers all along the supply chain. On the demand side, there was a lot of pent-up demand from the pandemic now being released, plus millions of people literally changing their lifestyles and, thus, are demanding more goods.
The real culprit is the group of people refusing to be vaccinated. Try blaming them, Lisa.

Actually it’s a pretty nice analogy. The ocean, Biden fishing for resources, the dangers of inflation. Too bad Lisa failed to label the body of water.
“Ocean of American Wealth and Prosperity”.
It’s the ocean the Republicans have been trying to get to trickle down on themselves for decades.

More inflation, more spending, more taxes??????? That only hurts the middle and lower class. The rich aren`t hurt at all.
