GOP intransigence combined with internecine Democratic intransigence have stalled constructive Congressional legislation all year. The electorate, both poles and the center are pissed off; the Tuesday election results are merely the logical conclusion. Expect no change in the D.C. quagmire and more GOP victories nationwide next year. It’s inevitable.

If the Dems want to clear up the “climate” that affects them, they need to adjust their policies and actions more towards what the public majority wants.
But no, that does not mean total submission to what a minority wants – no matter if it is radical left-leaning socialists or radical right-leaning fascists.
The climate would be better if the media would get off of the Democrats in disarray story and start reporting the Democrat successes. Which given the almost no majority are huge!
Vote the Democrats the majority in the houses in 2022 to give the majority of Americans what they want and need. Small steps forward are still steps forward.
I’m just hoping my neighborhood gets new pavement and water pipes out of this. Granted, it would have been more of a guarantee if the original bill was recognized, but small steps.
