Ah…….Facecrap. What a huge kick in the nuts to the human race this idea is. Thank God I don’t have any social media accounts (except my beloved Go Comics site.)

Only some twit in marketing could build a career around the concept that changing a company’s name could make people not remember the nastiness that they did. Wonder how much they paid to some company to come up with the name “Meta?” Pretty sure my 3rd grade could have come up with a better name…….alas we missed our chance.

Lalo is coming up with some very good editorial cartoons. Congratulations.

Did I read that the new corporate logo is going to be a picture of the Covid bug or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

Just a side note on the perniciousness of Facebook and its ilk: I never watched the cable news channels before the 2016 election because I never felt I could vet their spew to my satisfaction. When Trump was elected I started watching because I was so gob-smacked that such an utterly nasty doofus could actually be elected, and I needed to find out what people were saying. Four years later, when he was gone, I found myself being drawn to the shows, wondering what they were saying about….I dunno, ANYthing. Realized what was happening and am now happily cut free from them. But it showed me the power of being hooked into the conversation, true or not. It may sound trivial but it’s really not.
