This one is based on a true story. Character mascots are out on the streets and in front of stores, regularly getting attention for events or big sales in Japan. My daughter was scared of one, but I thought it was so cute I made her stand in front of it and take a picture. She was frightened and didn’t smile, but I was pleased to get the photo. Am I a bad father?
