Once again, Baghdad Bok doesn’t know what he’s talking about!! It’s not the crude but the capacity to refine it that counts!!! Try this at home boys&girls, try to boil a gallon of water … in a half-gallon pot!!

Baghdad Bok again shows his ignorance. Keystone has nothing to do with gas prices. It’s taking dirty Canadian tar sands, sending it over US land, where we have to clean up spills and deal with environmental impact. refining it in Texas, and selling it on the world market. Canada doesn’t want to send it to their own refineries because the hazard is just too great, so let the stupid American cousins deal with it.

Additionally, Baghdad Bok doesn’t care about future generations, looking at those “bumper stickers” he’s imagined.

Thirdly, OPEC is trying to maximize their profits since they know their days are numbered. They intentionally cut drilling to jack up prices.

Fourth, as was pointed out, refiner isn’t able to catch up with the large demand that has come from people getting vaccinated and able to get out, after over a year of reduced activity. It’ll get there.

Lastly, it doesn’t help when you get things like oil leaks off the coast of California and hurricanes in the Gulf.

B.S. We export more than we import but world oil prices affect what we pay.

The oil from the keystone pipeline was destined to be EXPORTED and not used in the USA. No fracking permits have been rescinded. This is just more disinformation from BOK. [aka lies].

As climate scientists fear that the rise in global temperatures is reaching the tipping point, let’s all just stick our heads in the sand and ignore the issues. Keep on burning those fossil fuels, baby.

I don’t usually brag about the expensive places I’ve been, but I did stop at the gas station this morning.

None of the oil from the Keystone Pipeline was meant for America. Canada wanted to run it through our backyard on its way to China and India.

We have plenty of oil wells drill already, but most of them are only pump a few days a months. Some are turned off several months a year. Keystone and OPEC are not US oil, in 2019 we were oil independent, then 2020 we returned to importing more oil than we exported. As high as gas prices are it still much cheaper than they would be if they increased with inflation.

Oil prices in 2018/19 were $3 plus in many states; they only dropped last year due to lack of demand with fewer people driving to work.

Actually, the higher oil prices are helping my state. With price per barrel going up it makes production costs effective again. So it’s getting production going, and helping oil producers and their supporting businesses get their people back to work.

It was opposition in the red states the XL pipeline was to pass through that killed it.

First DHS announces it wants to reinstates Trumps stay in Mexico rule, now Biden asks OPEC to produce more oil. It seems the place that misses Trump the most is the White House.

I just want to remind people that the Keystone Pipeline took oil from one foreign country and sent it to another foreign country using US land. The oil wasn’t for the United States at all. The “XL” in “Keystone XL” stands for “Export Limited.” And it only provided 35 permanent jobs in the United States.

The only reason such a stupid boondoggle was ever started was because the people making money from it bribed Congressmen.

All you liberals need to grow a brain. Liberalism is a disease. Gasoline prices are through the roof. YES – killing the XL Pipeline has a DIRECT impact on energy prices in the U.S. We were energy independent thanks to Trump, and look what the Demoncrats have done almost overnight. The liars say it is “transitory inflation.” That’s what they said about Carter’s inflation too. Biden and the Demoncrats sicken me. Their motto? “America LAST!”

In short order, the former president’s office said this: “If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ’22 and ’24. It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”

I wonder which part of “It is a limited resource with an increasing demand” Ol’ Bok missed. Oh. Right. As long as he dies before it’s all gone, nobody cares, right? Right wing economists are, perhaps fortunately, smarter than THAT… but “their” politicians don’t listen to them… and the right wing common taters, including the ones who commontate via cartoons don’t even know they exist.

bkdarling discovered the word “feckless” in a long vocabulary list and that was the only word he could remember, so he*must* use it every day or he/she/it forgets it.
