Aren’t the cartoonists Spanish speaking? The translation is plain wrong. “Haciendo” is a participle, not an infinitive. The sentence says “While making Christmas tamales, it is not on the cladnear.” (IDK what “it” refers to.) What they MEANT to say was “Hacer tamales…”, i.e. “To make tamales” Hacer, not haciendo. That is a mistake that English speakers make, but I don’t expect it of guys named Cantú and Castellanos.

Beautiful, sunny day, it cool. First morning with temps under 40°. I threw the ball for Carmy than went for a walk with a friend. Then Carmy and I went for a hike.
