Texans are interested in having reliable, inexpensive power. The Texas government, however, is interested in supporting the obscenely rich investors. And regulating women’s bodies. One of these millennia, I suppose the Texans will wise up and get rid of the Texas Talibanis, but I’m not holding my breath.
IMHO the anti abortion push in Texas is to divert attention from both the power grid mess and the botched Covid response. It appeals to the single issue voters who let the right wing politicians mess up Texas.
