Sorry but I have no sympathy for people who lived for years in South America, had good jobs, owned houses and cars, then decided to quit their jobs, sell all their stuff and head for the southern US border. THEN they camp out on the US side, and walk daily across the river to buy food in Mexico. AND then are shocked and outraged when deported back to Haiti. Really??!? Where in the hell did they get the idea that their lives would be better in the US than their middle class life in South America? Haitians from several different countries in South America joined in the trek. Apparently, if crossing the Rio Grande daily to buy stuff is any indication, they have money. So why just barely cross the Southern Border, then stop on the river bank? What on earth were they waiting for? Not to mention that few if any of that Haitian group speak English and almost none of their children speak Creole.
Is this some kind of a PR stunt by the GQP to make Biden look bad? How did the Haitians travel from SA to Del Rio TX? Why stop near Del Rio TX? Right where the Border Patrol could easily find them. Why walk across the RG at least twice a day to buy food? Why aren’t the various reporters asking hard questions? To me this entire episode shows just how biased the MSM is. Liberal it ain’t.

Sorry, but the mounted Texas police were not roping or whipping the Haitians. Those were reigns used for controlling the horses in tight areas.
