I got a flu shot today at Walgreens. The wait was 40 minutes. I see what they are doing, in that time I managed to buy $80 worth of stuff. Good thing the shot was free. And then she stuck it right in the muscle. I can’t lift my arm over my head.
Do you think they could convince Lily that they were NOT saying “Hail”, but rather they were saying a similar sounding word – the place where the devil lives? And that rather than agreeing with Chesney, they were in effect saying “Heck no!” (but with that other word instead of “heck”?
Nah, I don’t think it would work either. I’m going to close my eyes now. I would hate to see what Lily is going to do to those guys.

National Girl’s Night Out. Again, I can’t do that because I have to work. And I really miss the monthly “girl’s lunch out” that my friends and I used to do. Then stupid COVID hit and we haven’t gotten together since.

Dear Diary Day. I used to keep a diary (or more like a journal) but stopped a few years ago. I keep meaning to start doing it again, but once you get out of the habit, it can be hard to get started again.
Lily is MAD!!! Good luck boys! I believe I have mentioned here that my sister has been raising her great grandson for several years due to drug use and unstable living conditions by both his mom and grandmother. Monday afternoon his mother collapsed on the bathroom floor and died from an overdose. I am very concerned and heartbroken for my nephew, he is at the vulnerable age of 13. There will be a viewing and small get together this weekend down south that I will likely not attend as NO ONE in my family except my sister and I are vaccinated. I am having eye surgery in 3 weeks, and cannot risk even the most mild case as the logistics of travel to Reno 5 hours away are complicated but currently in place and would be difficult to reschedule. I’m in quite a quandary,
I wonder at Chesney’s mentality. He keeps trying to take over against Lily and Annie, but he’s the last kitty in the world to lead anyone or actually do the job of leading.
Uh oh, looks like things at the anti-Lily rally are about to take an ugly turn. Better run! On another note, saw a wren and three rabbits while out walking today.
