Yep. I’m about to head for the job at the grocery store. It will be sooo fun. And the commute in the rain too. Even funner.

I’m on vacation this week and plan to do a lot of reading

If I didn’t have to pay the bills, I would love to go back to school

The more reading that I do, the more I wish I had learned when I was younger

Two kids who can’t even be bothered to work on helping clean the house, and they’re wanting to go to work? I don’t think that was children’s aspirin they’ve been taking.

How long do you want me to laugh for? There’s only a very few people I know who like their work. Very few.

They’ll find out that school doesn’t teach you everything.

Well, not starving to death is kind of fun.

Hey, kids! Guess what a lot of us retired folks do now that we have the time? We take classes. Attend lectures and seminars. Train at museums and zoos so we can give tours and teach classes! Of course, we are choosing what we want to learn.

Yep, it’s a barrel of laughs. Zoom calls, deadlines, boring meetings, yep, just can’t wait to go to work. But then they do pay me, so I should shut up.
