The GQP is about as bad as the Mafia. Worse in the sense that they seem to have a lot of folks thinking of them as a political party instead of the murderous crime gang that they are.

This is a Travesty, no State should pass any law removing Rights guaranteed in Others.

Looks like he’s contemplating his next move… like maybe fathering a child that he can make sure is born… but then he can walk away without providing for it…

How about imprisoning the father of the foetus, especially if he is a Texas politician. And a longer sentence if he is married to someone else.

I’d like to feel sympathetic, but the Republicans in Texas were elected by a vote of the people.

Cut the drama, things change, all the rights we gave up for 9/11 and you belly ache this…. Grow up.Abortion pill (medication abortion) services are available by in Texas appointment only. You will need to follow up within 1-2 weeks to make sure your abortion is complete and that you are well.

And the US Supreme Court upheld the Texas Abortion ban. This is why people like Amy Coney Barrett were hastily jammed into the Court.

Republicans want to ban abortion, and when the kid is born, they don’t want to provide welfare services. What a bunch of hypocrites. They’re not pro life, they’re pro birth.

When I see the pandering Republicans going on about how this sort of legislation is necessary to protect the rights of the unborn children, I have to ask myself where is the corresponding legislation and programs to then protect the rights and safety of the actually-born children that will result? ~ Do you have a plan to support and encourage adoption? A plan to provide a safe and supportive home life for those children by supporting those parents? A safety-net that will ensure that these children aren’t abused, mistreated and malnourished as they grow up? ~ No? I guess in what passes for Republican ideology these days that is a “personal-choice” issue for those mothers to figure out.
