I think those Americans stuck in Afghanistan think “stranded” is exactly correct.
Even hard-core lefties like Rep. Seth Moulton, (former military who served in Afghanistan and former dem candidate for pres. nomination) has been highly critical of the administration’s effed up withdrawal and of the continuing BS coming out of the mouths of Biden and CCCPsaki. He quietly went over to Afghanistan to see what the hell was happening because there was no way to get a real assessment out of the administration. He left there yesterday and his reports are as ugly as you would imagine and do not jibe with the BS coming out of the White House. This is bad, folks. Many Americans are stranded and many will still be there when the Taliban’s deadline passes. There is no way in hell that with the situation as it is, thanks to the poor execution of the withdrawal, that we can get all those Americans out by 8/31 -less than a week away.
Here’s the lie that is coming, as it’s already been telegraphed by the Bungler In Chief and his trolls: Any Americans still in Afghanistan after 8/31 are there because they decided to not leave. Every American who wanted to leave, we got out.
It’s one thing to screw up the withdrawal, but to double down on your screw up and then tell the American people that there was no screw up is unforgiveable to anyone who doesn’t live in an alternate democrat reality bubble. Biden won the election with strong support from independents. They’re not buying his BS any longer and many of them have severe buyers remorse for having voted for this dope. Many of them won’t vote for the next presidential candidate with a D after his/her name. Dems will likely lose the House and Senate in 2022 before that happens. What a mess.
Meanwhile, McEnany is trying to sell lies – claiming that there wasn’t crisis after crisis during the Trump administration… I suppose that technically she’s right – because it was just one long continuing crisis…
