How much did we dump down the endless holes of Afghanistan and Iraq? With nothing to show for it. Money that could have been spent on infrastructure, health care, police, firefighters, etc.
Every person boo hooing about Afghanistan, needs to suit up and head over there and take on the Taliban. I’ll buy you a ticket.
And the GOP gives tax cuts to the wealthy 1%. Oh yeah, and they started the endless war in Afghanistan, too. Talk about feeding the military contractors!
Sigh Taliban never attacked the US. That was Al Qaeda, who were mostly Saudi. Then there were Republicans that attacked on 1/6. They’re home grown.
The Tax Cut and Spend Scam was a Republican plan that added $Trillions to the deficit and gave nothing in return. The infrastructure plan is an investment in the United States that addresses decades of neglect and decay with the goal of elevating the United States into a modern country instead of fading into another RW banana republic that had things like Insurrection attacks to overturn elections.
But Ramirez keeps putting out those Alternative fact cartoons.
And how many of those soldiers will be in the income brackets impacted by these taxes? How many of these soldiers might pursue gainful employment opportunities made available by all of this “reckless” spending?
War.. in all its phases is ugly. Perhaps.. it’s a good thing that we are witnessing this “chaos”.. so much of the horror has been unseen. And, perhaps.. it will make the next war harder to justify.. nah
Right. It was Congress, under G.W. Bush that “taxed and spent” to support the invasion and further progress of the Afghan war, as did Congress under Trump!
The display of sheer ignorance by the left never fails the rolling eyes. Their lack of knowledge regarding history and world events is abysmal. It’s either the above or they are purposefully spreading lies and disinformation in their on going propaganda war against America. One of the more idiotic statements repeated several is that it was Al Qaeda not the Taliban who attacked us. Two sides of the same coin China girl and any intelligence agent having experience of that region will tell you so. Both organizations have the exact same goals and are partners in terror. The Taliban was the domestic side of the organizations running the country and terrorizing the citizens while providing a base and safe haven for the international action arm Al Qaeda. No way we were not going into Afghanistan in the wake of 9/11 and President Bush had the full support of both the Democrats and Republicans who granted him the power to do so. So how many of you lefties were against the invasion at the time October 2001 I believe it was? I bet every damn one of you were in support of it.
Regarding the Taliban specifically? President Bush gave them every chance to turn over bin Laden and Al Qaeda or allow us to get them. They basically told us to go jump a rope. Fine, our troops went in and decimated the Taliban, took our guys TWO MONTHS to accomplish that. By December 2001 Afghanistan had an interim civilian government and the Taliban were in hiding like rats. Then the hunt for Al Qaeda and bin Laden began in ernest.
Spending is seen as a bad thing, often. I think we forget that that spending goes to do good things! You complain about 3.5 trillion dollars in spending, but that goes into improving peoples’ lives, and ultimately, makes the economy more productive.
“They pose a huge threat to America”. Are you speaking of the MAGA terrorist that support trump and vice-versa? Like this guy, and his fellow traitors from January 6th.
Never fear, the Democrats have plans to repeal the SALT Cap, a move that will ONLY benefit the RICH, not like Trumps clumsy attempts which reduced taxes on so many middle class Americans.

Rather a strange and unfunny attempt to make general statements about soldiers within the military…
