SKELLEY won’t let logic or facts get in the way of an anti-Democrat rant, the same way he wouldn’t let facts or truth get in the way of defending republicans against being held accountable for their crimes.

Umm. SKelley? Don’t you remember that the Keystone pipeline was intended to carry CANADIAN shale-oil to tankers in the southern US, to be shipped overseas? So the total number of gallons of gasoline from Keystone that came to the USA was going to be zero?

Also, what the spokes-image is saying is NOT that the President wants gas prices to be low. He just wants any increase in prices not to be caused by anti-competitive practices. Um. Sorry. I guess that’s WAY too subtle for the likes of this cartoonist.

Poor SKelley seems to not understand that the Keystone Pipeline wasn’t going to add a drop of gas or oil to the US economy, unless you count cleaning up the spills and contamination.

Democrats have this thing about believing words over actions. Republicans are the opposite. It is a shame really. Biden seems intent on destroying the economy, or at least destroying small and medium sized business which of course gives the government more power over personal lives but he is ‘doing it for the greater good’. From the pipeline, raising taxes, over spending, inflation, higher energy costs, jacking up the minimum wage, more regulations, more restrictions, mask mandates, favoring big business over small…. soon everyone will be working for the big corporations as wage slaves and those corporations will own the politicians, including Republicans (Democrats are already owned, as demonstrated by Hunter Biden).

    Yea…..

so the corporations stop gouging us because they can — It’s called competition, as in capitalism.

Gas prices are up because demand is up.

    Don’t Republicans understand economics?

Put your mask on. Get up close to a mirror. Blow into the mask. If the mirror fogs, your mask is useless. Homemade masks are the worst.

It’s disturbing that the narrative has been framed as pro-environment means you hate the business/economy by conservatives. What’s even more disturbing is that conservatives believe it. The environment, the economy and life are so much more wonderful, rich and nuanced than conservatives have been programmed to believe by their imperious leaders.

Do these clowns ever understand what they’re talking about?

For instance, that the Keystone wasn’t “ours”? That what went through the pipeline wasn’t for us? That when it was finished almost all of those jobs would go away?

So the pipeline was a Jobs Bill? All of that oil pumped in Canada ( not part of the US last time I checked) is currently being moved by rail cars by American workers. Once the pipeline gets built thousands of American railroad workers will be out of work.

    Stop destroying American Jobs Steve.

I find it rather amazing that some people think that Joe Biden controls oil prices throughout the entire world. Oil drilled here is sold on the world market at world market prices. If price were running $10 a barrel more in South America than they are in the US, that oil would go to South America. The increase in oil prices is a result of the world consumption recovering as pandemic fears waned.

The Biden gas tax is real. Gas prices are up over a dollar since Joe took office. We now buy crude from OPEC. When Joe took office we sold crude. Open your eyes.

Please explain how allowing Keystone XL to go through the US to sell Canadian oil on the international market helps competition in the US market.
