I have one young cat who like to take lap naps but she still hasn’t gotten the idea of the non-panic dismount. At the gentlest suggestion that she wake up, she takes off like a claw-assisted rocket. Ouch!
Oh, Fudge! I was waiting for the transfer to happen and that it woke the dog just enough to produce a huge PFART so obnoxious it peeled the wall paper off the walls and would remain in the couch fabric for months.

Ah I thought they’d make the transfer, then Gumbo would wake and leave, to give Katy that feeling of rejection.
