I had a waist, once…

A waist is a terrible thing to mind. (Someone had to post it.)

Dan, you’re not getting out of this one. Best not to engage but she’s standing right there. So, see at the next People With Female Partners commiseration meeting.

Just give her a compliment, Dan. Like ‘You always look beautiful to me’.

I never try to look at myself in a new outfit (dress, especially) if I’m not wearing the correct shoes for the outfit. I mean trying to see if a dress looks good on me if I’m wearing sneakers just doesn’t work. But, like you, hard to find a dress that actually looks good on me.

Amanda, go with matching ‘Chuck Taylors’

My bridesmaids lived in two different states, so I sent them a list of choices, and had them rank the top 5. I was able to go with one of my b-maids to go try on the dresses. After trying on a few dresses, the saleswoman pulled another dress that I hadn’t seen before. When my friend tried it on, she almost burst into tears, “this dress gives me a waist!” That sealed the deal for me!

I went through this last month with my wife. It was painful.
