We have been watching some of the games. Looks to me like mostly the athletes are being moderately well protected. Unlike the city itself. Accent on “moderately”.

Why any of them are allowed to be there sans vaccine is beyond my ability to even imagine, much less comprehend.

“Break A Leg” . . .(Old ‘good luck’ saying) maybe then you’ll get sent home before the new variant catches up to you.

I have not tracked one event or medal. The organizers and media must be desperate for eyeballs however considering the articles I have tripped across about the women volleyball bikini bottoms and a paralympian sprinter/jumper’s “too brief” shorts.

Did I look at the 2vs2 USA and Spain volleyball match? Of course, but my wife going by the doorway asked me why I was looking at soft porn. I was indignant! I am a sports enthusiast who has always been in favor of Title IX and females in athletics…especially in the summer sports.

While we’re on the subject, Hong Kong won a medal. Isn’t Hong Kong part of china? I don’t see Vermont sending their own team. Japan won ping pong gold. (Say that out loud.) Am I the only one who finds that silly?

Biles is out of the competition. Sad. After all that work…
