Oh, don’t worry. Conservatives have the answer to gun violence. Everyone, including teenagers, carrying concealed weapons everywhere. What could possible go wrong?
The biggest problem is the liberal DA’s and courts release the criminals without charges. These same criminals immediately go out and break more laws. They can get their illegal guns in many ways. Maybe they will turn them all in when ol’ joe calls for his so-called gun control. Riiiiiiight!!!
If society was truly interested in reducing gun violence the 9pm cop shows would be taken off the air. Doubt anyone is that serious. Let the killings go up until the ratings go down.

Partisans can argue endlessly whether crime is up or down, and what crimes should be prosecuted, and whether to call a shooting ‘gun violence’ (the gun somehow is responsible) or a ‘shooting’ (the shooter is responsible), but an undeniable fact is criminals are now very brazen, often unchallenged, and often armed. People don’t FEEL safe, and are uncertain police can or will be there to protect them if needed. Hence, LEGAL gun purchase and ownership is way up, among all political affiliations, races, and genders. If you choose to legally own a gun that’s your right, BUT it then becomes your responsibility to get training in how to store, handle, and use your gun responsibly and safely. (Curse them if you like, but the NRA has provided such training all across the country for decades; if you buy a gun take a class near you).
I see an opportunity for a Kevlar neck-gator. I do think there will be a long tail (maybe forever?) of people who prefer to order online and accept delivery at their door.
Meanwhile big city Democrat mayors are bolstering their own personal security while defunding the police responsible for protecting the citizens. Chicago’s Lightfoot increased her security to $3.4 million while firing 400 police officers. We’re seeing the same thing in NYC, Baltimore, San Francisco, San Diego and other Democrat cities while cutting their law enforcement officers.
