Serious comment of the day: quite often I’ll come across a jar or a package which is extremely difficult to open and, being of average strength, I wonder: I’ll bet there are a lot of people who can’t get this open – especially the elderly. What the heck?

They make the lid just slightly smaller than the jar, so you can’t get a good grip on it. I hate that!
