Squirrel!

Rover may need seconds – he’s working up an appetite.

After the squirrel goes up a tree, Rover can imagine his meal did not get away from him.

Squirrels are more important than meals?

Rover will be back sooner than later. When plan A fails, he will go with plan B. Da bowl.

Never has the question “why not” been answered so quickly

My dog always chased squirrels in the back yard, never caught one, but always chased them. When she got older she’d lay on the back porch and if I said ‘squirrel’ she’d look at me with the ‘I don’t think so’ look!

Mr. Basset, I’m still waiting for the sheets and pillowcases set, with your squirrel drawings printed all over.

Wonder what Rover would do IF he ever caught one. Like Wiley Coyote when he finally caught The Roadrunner? “Now what do I do with it?”

You’ve got to love how Red is mostly barefoot in summer.

So, should he guard his buddy’s food or go in the house and leave the food for other squirrels to collect? Someone went directly and immediately for the mcguffin.
