Joe Biden is a devout Catholic. He accepts the church’s teaching on abortion but, funny thing, he also does not believe that NON-CATHOLICS should be required to observe Catholic beliefs. What’s next, requiring non-Catholics to attend mass?

Every Catholic pope for generations has condemned capital punishment. Will Catholic priests also be prohibited from serving communion to politicians who support the death penalty? Or has the Catholic church in America just become another right-wing political PAC?

Perhaps the bishops should be more concerned about the priests who molest and rape young children, and those who cover up for them.

About 20 “good christians” protesting in front of the local Planned Parenthood today. A PP that doesn’t perform abortions. All the prayers from the “good christians” will not stop one abortions. If they really wanted to prevent abortions, they would be helping to educate and provide contraceptions to women that need it.

I drove by and honked. They were waving at me, until they noticed I was giving them the one finger salute.

I don’t have to go to church to be in “communion” with my God!! Besides, I can save at least $800 per year by not dropping into the collection plate!! And my Pastor wonders why I don’t attend Mass — anymore!!

See, the Roman Catholic Church has its own rules and stuff. If you don’t believe in those rules then join a different religion. No biggie. Lot of different religious sects out there. Hey Joe, go Episcopalian.

The cold war with “atheist” communism is over. It’s time to remove the “under god” from the pledge of allegiance, — restoring unconditional indivisibility — and stop the overt attempts to make the USA into a religiously intolerant quasi-theocracy secretly controlled by clerics.

I remember when we were worried JFK would be beholden to Rome instead of the USA. Quite the turnaround, no?

It strikes me as ludicrous that the church that abused children and tortured non -catholics could in its high morality deny communion to a very loyal Catholic who happens to be President and accepts a woman’s right to choose.

I’ve always wondered how Christ’s dictum to “Go and sell what thou hast and give it to the poor” turned into the Vatican, the Crystal Cathedral, Oral Roberts University, and the like. Just sayin’. . .

What if Catholic Bishops chose to prevent Child Molesters from giving Communion rather than preventing Pro Choice Catholics from receiving it?

Those same “good Christians” quit caring about the child and its mother the minute it is born.

Those priests realize that if abortions are performed that lowers the population of young boys that they can eventually exploit…

I wonder what made that alter boys eyes so big, the wine or something else. Or both!
