Years ago I took my sons to see “Fast Times At Ridgemont High”. A few minutes before the movie ended the power went out. After another few minutes the teen usher told us it wasn’t coming back on and we should exit. We all grumbled a little and he asked if we’d like to know how it ended. Resounding yes. He acted out the last part of the movie and was given grateful laughter and applause. Turned the experience into a fun afternoon, not just a movie.
Before the MCU, there was Airplane. After the credits ran, the taxi passenger (Howard Jarvis — Google him) said, “I’m giving him another ten minutes, and that’s it!”
Because it was so unusual, the ushers at my local theater told the patrons, “Stay till the end of the credits for the last joke.” Then the studio re-released it with that scene before most of the end credits.

The scene reminds me of the IMAX theater in Spokane, WA

When you’ve seen it fourteen times it takes the excitement out of it.

When you’ve seen enough MCU movies, you can’t help it.
