I don’t really understand the battles…are they judged on a point scale? I’m glad no one gets hurt but is this Olympic Fencing? Asking for a friend. Love the comic though…

If they don’t put up a good fight and go on raids to steal the safe from whichever ship has it at the time and what not… they’d never be able to claim they are pirates on their income tax returns.

The only “injuries” I can recall are what the mice do to the feet and legs of the Green-Ship Pirates…

I don’t know, in panel 2 Louie looks like he needs a vet, actually. A severe case of constipation. Don’t get me wrong, I love the story and it’s a cute gag, but those eyes will haunt me tonight.

Is Nate really that small so that, in the foreground, he is smaller than Henry, in the background, by comparison. Have we just been getting fooled about Nate’s size by the clever use of perspective?
