I LOVE this comic. It’s probably one of the best comics I read on the daily. Clever, fun, witty, interesting and even captivating at times like this when there is a story told. Gotta love everything about it!! I wish I had time to sit and read it from the beginning all the way through! :)
The shark must be providing Louie with a friendly escort, because otherwise Louie would’ve already been lunch. Maybe the shark feels like he owes the Captain a favor. Or hates the taste of Golden Retrievers.
It’s called stylization yo. In 1979, The Great Soviet Dictionary provided an excellent definition of stylization, explaining it as “the decorative generalization of figures and objects by means of various conventional techniques, including the simplification of line, form, and relationships of space and color.” mkay?
