They have some very nice impressionist landscapes in my doctor’s office. However, for most artist I know, “impressionistic” is just an excuse for “I can’t paint worth crap”.
This is how I prepare for my easel painting sessions – by covering the floor with a canvas tarpaulin as to protect it wholly! But alas, the brush strokes can be messy no matter wherever they fling paint!
