The Disciples continue to believe Their Messiah is 6’ 3" and not obese.

And that he is also the real president because of widespread undetectable voter fraud.

Many of the Orange Vomits followers are convinced he is the King of America so maybe Winslow could aspire to Emperor of Estonia so as not to overlap the insanity!

I believe I’m enjoying this arc… or the observations to back it up.

Fox* has persuaded Republican victims that it’s not the Republicans who’ve been picking their pockets for 50 years. It’s the “others”, all the people who’ve recently acquired civil rights and economic well being. In order for them to prosper, “They” must be returned to subordinate status. This doesn’t end well. As long as Fox* is allowed to scream Fire in the crowded theater, the threat of civil war will continue to grow.

Trumpism Without Borders By Thomas B. Edsall — Let’s let Goldstone have the last word: If Biden fails, God help us, we are headed back to the world of the 1930s, with steep political polarization, ethnic hatreds and cleansings, powerful anti-immigration sentiments and spreading fascism. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/06/16/opinion/trump-global-populism.html

I’m beginning to believe that Orwell was off by only a century. The GOP is becoming “The Party” with Donald Trump as “Big Brother.”

Oh, we’re back to running pointlessly around the desert while relitigating philosophy? Well, it was fun having a comic strip in this spot for a little while.

You can believe all the stupidity you want, meanwhile the TRUTH marches on without you.

You have unlimited power in your imagination.

Until you meet someone with more imagination.

Since RobinHood didn’t do his usual cut-and-past lyrics, please indulge me.

He thought he was the King of America

Where they pour Coca Cola just like vintage wine

Now I try hard not to become hysterical

But I’m not sure if I am laughing or crying

I wish that I could push a button

And talk in the past and not the present tense

And watch this hurtin’ feeling disappear

    Like it was common sense

It was a fine idea at the time

    Now it’s a brilliant mistake

    Elvis Costello, King of America
