There IS a difference. The guy on the right is part of a system that’s killing them one at a time. And it’s getting a lot harder to get away with it. (mostly because of cell phones, but that’s another issue). The guy on the left is ignoring a huge but (more or less) one time event. Though he and his have been at it more or less continually since.
The problem is much larger, involves many more groups, and is found throughout human history. It’s not just White versus Black in the US. Try the Greeks and then Romans versus the world; the early Turkish empire versus the Armenians; today’s Chinese communist government versus practitioners of Islam in their country; the Nazis against the Jews, Catholics, the Romany. Human beings through out history demonstrate their lack of humanity. The amazing thing is that we have survived as long as we have…
You said “people.” YOU SAID “PEOPLE.” Baaaaad boy. .. I said “boy.” I SAID “BOY.” Baaaad white man. I mad a gender assumption. I MADE A GENDER ASSUMPTION. Oh… it’s me, I can do that. But let’s get to another point about today’s comic: I went to school in the 50s and 60s. There was no teaching of his unspeakable event in Tulsa. None. I did see something talked about by one of the early activists. I did see riots on TV. I did see the marches in Selma, etc. That was just “news,” along with the price of bread and gas and various entertainment and sports events. News media turned away from the realities of what African Americans were going through. We were INTENTIONALLY rendered largely ignorant of the scale of racism in our country. Now the news media is paying lip service and pressing on about this or that word being bad/racist, etc. It’s not about words.. it’s about history and ongoing racism (along with sexism). Now that African Americans are gaining some political power via the polls, we’re seeing some of the history come to light. Will it make any difference besides the still white controlled news media? Or will we still just shun certain words?
Massacre? Just out of curiosity, roughly how many unarmed black people are killed by the police in the US on an annual basis? (yes, any is too many) Do you believe it’s:
Artgal doesn’t seem to understand it isn’t the raw numbers, it’s the proportions. It is so stated in the link she provided. “Additionally, the rate of fatal police shootings among Black Americans was much higher than that for any other ethnicity, standing at 36 fatal shootings per million of the population as of May 2021.”
I seriously doubt, though, that police officers kill deliberately and consciously because of race. A victim’s behavior, and unconscious bias, can all contribute to the eventual, needless outcome.

Another in a long list of events filed under “N” for “never happened” by conservatives.
