Aside from the always inward-looking and myopic Haredi Jews, most Israeli children are taught basic skills such as reading, writing, math, languages, history and a variety of other subjects in primary and secondary schools. Gazan children, under Hamas rules, are taught reading and writing and hatred of Jews and Israel, and that getting oneself killed in attacking Jews is a gateway to martyrdom and heaven.
