OK, I know it’s the comics and all but I still have a lot of trouble suspending enough disbelief to think that an adult man could submerge his entire body in a kiddie pool to the point that the kids can’t see that’s Joe there. That’s maybe six inches of water.

I made them in the early 1960’s. I’ve, also, used them with children in 3rd-5th grade that I’ve worked with. They are still popular.
