Around the time, this arc started, I read an article on the invention of the Kinetoscope. The VR headset, looks like a portable version. I wonder if people thought those made them feel like they were really IN the “moving picture”.
Off topic slightly, has anyone here gone duckpin bowling? It’s supposed to be easier and more laid back. I note some venues near me are advertising it, but without a car they would be major expeditions.
