The police unions are against any and all reforms. Why would they want to change anything when they can literally get away with murder and then retire in 20 years with a nice pension. The police union in Cleveland is fighting to get the cop who shot 12 year old Tamir Rice, in less than 2 seconds after leaving his squad car, reinstated. That is how much the unions care what their communities think. I’m generally a unions person, but police unions need to be busted and reinvented with the community first in mind.

Absolutely. Give them all a one hour class in non-discrimination, and call it reform. It’s what will happen, it has happened before.
