Poor Gil. Of course when i was a kid it was peanut butter and jam and an apple from the first day of school until the last day of school. We were poor so special days like hotdog day or pizza day weren’t things I could participate in. i ate what was available and lived with the food boredom. Apples were always available as an all the time option as a neighbour had an orchard next door and no phone so he gave us bushels of apples in exchange for using ours.
