I have heard this a lot. It’s extremely sad that people don’t have a better idea about what vaccines are, how they work, etc… on at least the level of “they make your immune system work better by giving examples of what to fight”. What’s even more discouraging: They may have a pet who has been chipped, and yet they think they themselves can be chipped through a needle that’s about 5% large enough.
The largest group of folks not getting the vaccine are minorities, primarily blacks and hispanics. That’s why many of the PSA’s feature African American spokespersons. I even saw a commercial with John Legend and I thought, yeah, JL don’t have no cred in the ’hood and this is more likely effective on white people.
Members of the Trump Cult don’t trust science, or history, or current events, or objective reality—even if they WERE accidentally exposed to objective reality! They sure as hell do trust their insane cult, however.

GQPs only like science and technology that is convenient for them and supports their agenda. All other science and technology, by definition, is a hoax… despite that attitude hurting them many times over their lives, they stick to it and blame “liberals” for their own bad decisions.
