Payne didn’t comment on Whitmer today. Why not, you ask? Well, even though Michigan has 16 of the 20 largest metro areas with the most COVID infections, Whitmer has only asked people to comply with preventive measures rather than mandating them. Even Dim Bulb Payne knows he can’t make his usual trope stick this time. (Also, the MI health commissioner seemed to suggest that the present COVID difficulty is partly due to past Whitmer policies. NPR’s ATC to day.)
And why do we need the Capitol Police and the National Guard to protect the Capitol and our legislators? Because Trumpublicans egged on by Trump and now being excused by stupid Republican legislators stormed the capital looking for legislators to kill. People died, but Republicans think that wasn’t so bad…
