Cloudy with the occasional hole for Old Sol to peek through. Right now 42 degrees and it’s going to try for 57 this afternoon.
I will be headed out to the Newport aria this morning, I’ll follow my nephew who is taking his Jeep for cleaning and detailing. I have no other details. (^.^)
It’s stay-at-home-and-do-the-laundry day. Guess what I’ll be doing…
I finally got the “medallion stamp” signature on some paperwork that I needed from the bank. It’s a pain in the keister, but without it I don’t have access to my savings bonds. I converted them to paperless after we were robbed several years ago. (I love those things. I bought them while I was working at an aerospace company in CA and they are approaching their maturity date. I bought them for $25, the face value is $50 and they mature at $207. All I had to do was wait.) I do need to mail the paperwork to the Treasury Department and then I will have access again.
HOA Board meeting last night. I think we got a lot accomplished. We were still meeting via tele-conference, but next month we should be able to meet in person. Or at least the board will. The homeowners will still have to dial in.
We are heating up around here. Today’s forecast is for 94 and tomorrow will be 98. But by Sunday we’ll be back down into the high 80’s. Our average for this time of year is the high 80’s. We seem to be spending a lot of time above the average this year. I do not know how that will bode for the summer temps.
Pastor Tim told us yesterday morning that some news commentators and congress people are already starting to blame Christians for the delay in reopening our country. It seems we are en masse refusing the vaccine and therefore stopping herd immunity. Be prepared for the persecution.
We have sunshine! Ok, so it has been a wet April and May and I am excited to have a sunny day. Our temperatures are rising back to normal, currently it is 64 and we have a frost advisory for overnight. It has been a few years since we have had such a cool spring.
We made our weekly trek to Walmart this morning. Between the road work in front of the store and the total remodel inside it was not an enjoyable trip. It is rough enough when they reset products to different shelves, but they are totally moving departments to other locations. It is a mess!

Laundry day, so I need to get that done.
Peace to all of you.
