Mike got his car yesterday. There’s still a couple of things to be fixed, but they are on a form that is part of his purchase contract, so he’s not worried.
I did not start radiation yesterday. The oncologist is not happy with the slow healing and postponed for another week. At least this time he told me why they don’t want to start it until I am healed. If they start it before healing, it slows down the healing process and I would be putting up with this for a lot longer. It is much much better, but not fully healed yet.
I’ve been out to Sam’s Club for gasoline and Wal Mart for a few groceries this morning, followed by the prayer group. I still have an appointment at the bank this afternoon, but that shouldn’t take long. In the meantime, I’m just sitting around with my computer, phone and tablet.
We’re supposed to stay below 90 today. It’s 83 at the moment (noon-thirty). You can tell it is still spring, though because the overnight temps still go down to the sixties. In the summer it rarely gets below 85 at night.
Good afternoon Vagabonds.
