Here’s the scary part: A few days ago I listened to a Texas senator in an interview on NPR, insisting that the voter repression law they just passed is perfectly fair to everyone. He made a point of saying that they want every “qualified” voter to vote – specifying not every registered voter. And who decides if someone is a qualified voter? Why the new legal arrangement where the legislature can replace voting officials in any district they please, who can then change the outcome of elections if they don’t like them. So Republican-selected voting officials decide who is qualified to vote. Sure, this decision-making could be applied to everyone, but of course it will be applied to districts with high numbers of people of color or “un-American” names, or any style of Democrat, disqualifying them and removing them from the voting rolls, or perhaps just tossing their votes. You can bet they won’t be notified they’ve been disqualified, if at all, until the day before any given election. More than half the states are passing similar laws, including Georgia – pretty much all the ones with Republican legislatures. It makes me physically ill.
HR-1 shall permit a voter to designate any person to return their sealed absentee ballot, as long as the person doesn’t get paid based on the number of ballots returned. Just make sure to mark R or D on the outside so they know which ones to toss! Oh and the person cannot have ever voted for Trump, forgot that one.
Soon you’ll need a DNA test, but that might show everybody has a common ancestor who lived in Africa that was dark skinned and swung from tree to family tree . . . OMG !

The GQP wants to go back to a more “traditional Southern voting arrangement”.
A ballot box for whites, and a shredder for everyone else.

It’s a bit of overkill, a simple shredder would suffice.

Typical GOP rules! But what can you expect from lying senators who are there for only themselves…NOT for the people they represent!

Red ballots for Republicans, blue ballots for Democrats. Guess which ones will get ‘lost’.

A certain troll mentioned the unauthorized ballot boxes in CA – put up by Trumpanzees. The QOP will cheat any way they can.
