I’ve had that happen to me. If someone does something for me, an unexpected little gift, or unexpected help, it may not mean much to them, but to me, it can mean quite a lot, yes, even to the point of tears. I try to remember that and do what I can for others who look like they may need a little lift in their day.

Or an unexpected card in the mail, a friendly text, a small courtesy from a stranger can all give us a boost. But it’s always best when it comes from friends!

Sometimes even a little compassion can go an incredibly long way. You do not need to like someone, but at least try to be respectful. You do not ever know what someone else may be going through and how hard they have had it.

I found a parking space at the end of a block once. Another driver tried to park in front of me. Her car tires weren’t behind the post, so I told her to wait while I moved my car back 6" so she could park legally too. She was astounded. It was a little tough getting out of the space but so worth it. A little goes a long way!

Strangely, more often it comes from total Strangers. Makes your day.
