For everyone saying Betty’s being unreasonable or nuts or whatever. First it’s a comic, second, they’ve been doing more family orientated things together like board games and such. Escape rooms have been pretty popular in the last 5 years. I think this is a great way to have some family fun and no one is getting hurt.
The dessert is not important, it’s the fun to do some family activity and solve the puzzle. I find Betty unpleasant and snarky most of the time, but here she planned a game for the family, it’s not bad.
Betty has put a lot of thought and creativity into the fellows getting their “just” desserts. I do hope she’s got something worth it, but, in any case, putting together such a good puzzle takes not only creativity, but in this case, love.

If I were the guys, I’d go out for dessert and leave her at home! Gerry and Gary are back to making Betty seem petty and insufferable.
