I have an anti-socialist, “anti-hypocrisy” friend. He drives a school bus.
BTW: Stimulus checks aren’t Socialist, nor is welfare. Republican’s favorite rallying cry – “Workfare”, is Socialist. “Worker” control (though government agencies) is Socialism. School bus drivers, public school employees, police, paid firefighters and EMTs are Socialist jobs. If the government pays for medical costs, that’s NOT Socialism; if the government dictates, staffing, salaries, and procedures for delivering medical care, that would be Socialism.
Not very many Republicans realize that getting rid of all Socialism from our country puts them with the “defund police” crowd.
