If they can make money selling a product that makes you “brain better”, Agnes can make money on her placebo as well.

When I was Agnes’ age, being sent to the principal’s office was like a death sentence. We weren’t hit, of course (this was the 1950’s), but that ogre’s raised voice was enough to turn any kid into quivering jelly.

I wonder if Calvin’s principal and teacher, and Agnes’s principal and teacher, get together in a bar after work to swap stories.

I was a perfect angel, never got sent to the principle’s office. A group of us did regularly see the assitant principle though,in Jr.High. One of the guys had a car, and would pick-up our group, and we we’re a little tardy 99% of the time….get a tardy slip, after 3 tardy slips, get a detention. Drove Mr.Sewell crazy, good guy, probably everyone’s favorite teacher.

I have a feeling that Agnes’ teacher and the principal are counting the days to retirement.
