I don’t know about all my Arizona cousins’ kids, but I hear that some of them have school all year around; no summer vacation.
Around here summer school were for students with failing grades. This wouldn’t be Gracie’s problem.
She’s going to have so many friends as she grows up.

I had to take summer school one year because I failed math. I made the most of it by taking Drivers Ed at the same time.

It is probably to make up the time off from the Pandemic.
Smart people learn year around, not just in a school setting.
