    Too complicated. The only thing the wind turbine needs is occasional maintenance like lubing or repacking the bearings, cleanining oxidation buildup and rarely storm damage. A friend of mine put his first one up on his farm in 1989 and eight months out of ten the power co. was forced to pay him for pushing power into the grid. They then sued him when he put two more up and he essentially became a power co…they lost. They’re still running to this day supplying all his farm’s needs and then some.
