    Have y’all considered the OTHER benefit of a high SPF sun block? Now, this isn’t a scientific observation or explanation, just a personal one, but when I use to fly gliders, I would wear a sun block with an SPF over 50 while at the glider port (which meant being out in the sun all day helping to launch and retrieve sailplanes.)

    What I realized was how much COOLER I felt while working in the direct sunlight when wearing the sun block. MY explanation is that the same UV rays the sun block prevents from reaching your skin are the same that heats up your skin.

    Just a thought.
