Be of stout heart Sid. Andy will not be bitter about a philosophical discussion about how full a glass is. But he will hop right in to make sure that there are no empty glasses around, yeast someones beer would go flat. Andy would barley take seeing such waste.
When I lived in Germany back in the 60’s and 70’s, I loved Krombacher Dark. It had a nice kick to it and a fine taste. Sometimes I miss my sinful youth. But Not For Long – NFL.
My favorite answer (I can’t remember who said it): “I don’t know if I’m an optimist or a pessimist. I always see a glass as half full of something I probably won’t like.”

That phrase always irks me. Full & empty are absolutes. I will agree with Imagine. It is always full, or empty in a perfect vacuum.
