Sure, the unlikely imagined situation where the Olympic Committee allows men to compete in women’s events – and even a fictional potato person – is more important than the pandemic and the carnage it causes…

The Cpac has made it clear that Republicans are anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-people of color, anti-truth, anti-democracy, anti-science and anti-common sense.

They have their own little white nationalist fantasy world where everyone is denying them their entitlements. So they need a fascist and brutal dictator to teach the rest of us a lesson we will never forget.

I don’t care how anyone identifies or whatnot, but there has to be some protection of women in women’s sports. Otherwise, besides resentment, it could become viewed as another way men have gamed a system to steal from women’s opportunities. Even if that is not their intent, it will be hard for it to be viewed otherwise.

SKelley has been such a total supporter of women’s sports for such a long time…

How UTTERLY silly. Stupid even. But right wingers have always had a really hard time with the whole concept of gender equality, much less something so completely out of their wheelhouse as allowing people to (gasp) choose  a gender. Remember when they were railing about same-sex marriage and how it was an attack on their religion… and how, next thing you know, people would be marrying their dogs? Look how that’s all turned out.

I think they’re just not happy unless they’re complaining about allowing people to have their OWN options.
