One good thing about having been in the military is that you had to wear your “cover” (hat) outdoors, so you’re used to checking to make sure that you have on everything you are supposed to have on before “stepping out.” It’s now a habit; I put on my mask before getting out of my car just like putting on my seat belt when I get in.

That’s why I try to keep a mask in the pocket of every jacket and coat. I also keep one by my front door.
