Mixing generously with excessive exuberance does NOT result in a middle course.

Yeah, they need all the money to give to those poor billionaires who are scraping by.

Compromise does not work with the Republicans any longer. The Dems have a majority in the House and a tie-breaker in the Senate. They need to pass what they deem necessary regardless of opposition: re-authorization of a voting rights bill, expanding health care to more Americans, climate change measures, more fiscal assistance to those needing it during the pandemic, etc.

Summers is also the dingbat who said that women don’t belong in science because their minds just aren’t good for that kind of thinking. He should crawl back in his hole and be quiet.

Trump / Republicans increased the deficit by 36% in less than 4 years after saying in 2016 that he would eliminate it in 8 years. can you imagine how much more it would have increased if he had been re-elected? Biden has no choice what with the mess Trump left for him; Covid-19 / unnecessary deaths, joblessness, homelessness, starvation….

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country. ’Nuff said.
