Val: Knitting is all the rage again. Joan: I know! You see people knitting all the time. They speed knit with these fat needles and fuzzy yarns. One of my clients was on a plane last week and the flight attendants were knitting. They didn't serve him any food, but he did come home with a lovely scarf.

Random side note: if Joan’s client is rich enough to hire people to do menial jobs like write manuals (Joan’s job) then they’re probably rich enough to be in business class. In business class, as far as I know, you are served food. Thus, those flight attendants were not doing their jobs.
