And they choose to go after Liz Cheney for voting to impeach, but applause for a member who called for democrats to be executed. They have vowed to defend and acquit tRump again, there is nothing lower or more despicable than a repug.
He’s also responsible for the capitol officers who committed suicide after having failed to protect the capitol from Il Douche’s army of American terrorists.
Frankly, most of the GOP should have been barred from setting foot in the presence of this hero. Their evasion, justification and outright lies are a major stain on the honor of this country. But wasn’t it nice to see a president and vice-president paying respect to a fallen warrior, instead of calling him a “loser”? Every time President Biden demonstrates his basic decency and desire to do his best for America, I feel the pain from these last miserable years ease a bit.
CNN and MSNBC delivered live coverage on Tuesday night of the memorial service for U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who was killed in the line of duty when pro-Trump insurrectionists attacked the government last month.
Fox News didn’t bother. Instead, the right-wing network mostly stuck with its normal prime time lineup of opinion hosts, delivering only brief reports from the service for Sicknick, who was lying in honor in the Capitol Rotunda.
President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden visited to pay their respects, as did leaders and members of Congress. But Fox News viewers were treated to the usual assortment of conspiracy theories and grievances.
Of course, Mr. Britt should know that the term “G.O.P. terrorists” is what is known in grammar as a “redundancy”. And also, at least 10 House republicans do not “yet” qualify for the title!
The republican party is dead and we need to bury it before it starts to stink (more).
Gee, I don’t remember seeing anything like this for the 8 policeman killed in the “mostly peaceful” riots this past summer. You remember the one shot in the back of the head, the two cops that were run over by cars and trucks, one died and one paralyzed from the neck down for life, and the ones who were shot dead after serving for 25 years or more. How selective you Dems feel in your outrage!
